EVERYTHING IS A WORK IN PROGRESS STILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No hating yet!!! It will be all pretty and colorful with pictures and descriptions for all of them when I am done!
The following page is the ENTIRE SABRE guide, for a condensed version based on your needs you can either mouse over the SABRE GUIDE menu above and click the related link or type in what you are looking for in the search box above!!
(Search box coming soon... it costs money guys!!)
Everything you wanted and didn't want to know about SABRE!
SABRE crash course. Everything before the dash is the SABRE code, after the dash is what SABRE has as the explanation of this code, and my opinion/description will be in parentheses and italic ( ) if there is no comment by me then it is self explanatory and no other way to explain. DO NOT TYPE THE DASH!!! If your copy has color, the color as well as font, boldness, or size of font has no bearing to the code or its access. It is just for ease of use to see the code more prominently. If there are any codes I have missed, any incorrect information or grammatical errors, please email me and let me know at [email protected] with the subject line “SABRE GUIDE” or fill out the form on the "Contact" section above. I am also going to make mine into a small book. If you would like a copy it can be done for the cost of materials so please contact me via email with your request and make sure to put in the subject line “SABRE GUIDE” Thanks, and I hope you enjoy!!! It took me a REALLY long time to put this together ;-)
[[DECS - SABRE ACCESS TO DECS (SABRE will change the [[ symbols to the correct symbol known as the change symbol)
//MQ - ENVOY/AMERICAN EAGLE SABRE (This will be the way to access Envoy/American Eagle SABRE. MQ is the airline code for Envoy/American Eagle Airlines)
BSIP665699 - SIGN IN WITH EMPLOYEE IN NUMBER (Replace 665699 with your own Employee ID Number. Best way to remember this code is "Better Sign In Pronto")
SABRE will now ask for your password, this pw never changes unless you forget it and need to reset it so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not forget it!!!
Now after you have put in your password you will notice the cursor is on your Employee ID Number, just hit enter!
Beware... lengthy explanation ahead!!!
If for any reason it says "Partition not allowed on this computer" or something similar to that then start over (it may not allow you to clear the page, if that is the case just close SABRE and restart it) and after you input your password DO NOT hit enter. Check to make sure your Employee ID Number is correct (if not, correct it. If you need to correct it you will not need to hit TAB to get to where it either says AA or MQ, so skip that step) and hit TAB once, if it says AA type MQ and hit enter. If it says MQ I would close SABRE and re-open it. DO NOT put your password into the same computer a third time after failing twice, I am not sure how many attempts it takes to need a reset... but I am not trying to find out! I would suggest after 2 failed attempts that you close SABRE and try again on another computer!!!
YOU SHOULD NOW SUCCESSFULLY HAVE LOGGED INTO DECS
When you have successfully gotten into SABRE it should say "In Personal Mode" it may also say "Please check your Hi6 or Hi16". Now you can move onto the following SABRE codes... caps do NOT matter, SABRE will change everything to upper case.
Hi1 - CURRENT MONTH SCHEDULE
Hi2 - LAST MONTH SCHEDULE (Before next month bids open)
Hi2 - NEXT MONTH BID AWARD (After next month bids open)
Hi3 - CURRENT SEQUENCE (If this shows a past worked sequence it is because you have no current sequence to work, it will remain the most current sequence until a new one is assigned)
Hi4 - PAST SEQUENCE (if Hi3 shows the same sequence it is because you have no current sequence that you are working, Hi4 will always be the last sequence worked)
Hi5 - NEXT SEQUENCE (If rsv, it will show next sequence assigned if there is one, otherwise it will say "¥NO65NEXTACTIVITY FOUND¥", if line holder it will show the next sequence in your line after beginning your current/last sequence)
Hi6- DAILY COMPANY EMAILS (Company will send revision reminders, season reminders, death & hardship announcements, work performance reminders, bid opening/closing reminders, anything they deem necessary to share with employee(s).)
Hi16 - COMPANY EMAILS ALREADY SEEN (These are all Hi6 emails you have already looked at for the past 24 hours)
Hi16/DDMMM/DDMMM - COMPANY EMAILS ALREADY SEEN FROM SPECIFIC DATE RANGE (You can put in Hi16/01MAY/15MAY and all Hi6 messages you received within that date range will show)
Hi7- YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION (Including, name, nickname, gender, base, address and phone numbers on file. You address and contact phone numbers would be present, I removed mine for this screenshot)
Hi8 - PERSONAL COMPANY INFORMATION (including, seniority number, Base, occupational position, company seniority date, occupational seniority date, class date, date of hire and any transfers you have requested)
Hi9 - PASSPORT INFORMATION (your passport number would be present, but I removed mine for this screenshot)
Hi10 - ATTENDANCE (This will be any attendance occurrences, Whether it be furlough, sick calls, OJI, move days, dropped days, conflict days, return days... anything modified to your schedule... Yes mine is probably more colorful than yours ;-)
HiB - BIDDING (If bids are open it will ask you to choose a selection to begin bidding)
HiB/* - SAVED BID BALLOT (This code is used to see a bid you have placed. If bids are closed it will show all lines you submitted last time bids were open. If you type this in while bids are open it will show your saved bid for this bidding session)
I would have to check if all these forms as still legitimate to use for their purpose but as of now I will just say they are. The worst that could happen is they send you an Hi6 informing you of the correct way of reporting something.
